We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2015 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth with exciting and innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

Student Choice and Student Voice Through Technology

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Do you hesitate to allow students to use a "technology of choice" to demonstrate their learning? Hear from one teacher as she details what happened when she stopped trying to control every aspect of student learning and experimented with "Student Choice." Learn from the outcome of a final project in which students were given choice to demonstrate their learning utilizing a technology of their choice. The teacher in fact became the student. Top student projects will be highlighted along with the technology chosen by the students to demonstrate their learning. Increased student engagement and increased student proficiency were just two of the benefits of what this teacher likes to call "smart teaching". Web tools such as Zaption, Smore and ISSUU will be highlighted.
