We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2015 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth with exciting and innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

What is Your Students’ Safety Worth? - Gaggle

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Whenever a district or school provides account access to technology they own, educators have to be clear that there should be no expectations of privacy. Instead, we have to protect students by teaching them digital citizenship and taking nothing for granted. While taking the digital leap can be a very exciting time, before taking the deep dive there are some precautions you should take to assure student safety. Hear emotional real stories, including news headlines you might have missed, and learn how filtering and monitoring equals better control of what your students are doing online. This session will also review the "Top Social Network and Apps Kids Use,” an important resource that has been featured in recent news stories.
