We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2015 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth with exciting and innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

In this era of 21st century skills, never has it been more important to help students become good writers and good critical thinkers. In this session, the importance of the connection between teacher professional development, student assessment, and data driven instruction, especially targeted towards writing and critical thinking will be explored. This session will be a great primer for anyone who is interested in applying any set of standards, including the Common Core, and seeing how the power of a digital-based rubric assists in connecting the standards to instruction. Additionally, this session will dissect the power of digital tools that assist in teacher professional development, assessment and instruction around close reading and writing.
