We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2015 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth with exciting and innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

Leveraging Digital Learning Tools to Foster Authentic, Lifelong Readers

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Our students were consistently earning an A+ in “fake reading”--until we realized that we were part of the problem.

Come learn how we have leveraged digital learning tools to put a moratorium on fake reading and to create, in its place, a culture of authentic, book-loving  readers (which, in turn, boosts tests scores, improves interdisciplinary performance, and fosters lifelong reading). In our high school BYOD classes, we’ve coupled real-world tasks with the use of purposeful, digital learning strategies, and the results truly reflect what we think 21st Century Learning should look like.  Come join the conversation!
