We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2015 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth with exciting and innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

Peer Evaluation Workflow with Google Apps

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Teachers in Google Schools who practice student-centered learning will want to support peer evaluation. This workflow is based on Coursera's Peer Review process, which was also incorporated into Google Course Builder.  It moves from "pre-flight" checklist forms to rubrics (using sheets) that can calculate grades and support detailed comments.  Pointers are offered to ways to use Google Classroom to help manage the process.

Note: there are Add-Ons (Orange Slice, Goobric, etc.) to support aspects of this process, but this session does not explore them.  Chrome Web Store pages and tutorials are available from the attached "Presentation."

This process has been used successfully in a high-functioning 8th grade class.  It may be simplified for younger grades.
